Where did America Go Wrong?

Our very own US Constitution Preamble reads: We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domesticTranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America. Seems like from just the preamble of our US Constitution would serve as a guide for living in all of America regardless of Race, Color or Creed.
Where did the “we” of American go wrong? Is it that “we” allowed one of us to remove prayer from US Public Schools? Is it “we” are allowing one civil rights organization take “In God We Trust” out of public places? Is it “we” are allowing what was wrong and now treating it as right? Is it that “we” have allow our elected to create legislation moves people problem who are non-citizens moving them from one state to another under the theme of immigration law and legislate a state problem to be another states problem? These illegals are here in America because of a very poor economy in their country and desire to become one of us. “We” can allow legislation to take place to fix a problem of society; but the people of the “we” still remain poor, live in poverty, many homeless and may deprived the opportunities of simply making some gains for the better in America.

This writer once was called to attend a barbeque where a group of non-Native People were having a celebration of a Massacre of Natives that took place in Wyoming. It was requested of this writer to say something to the people having this celebration. This writer was speechless and greatly taken back for this writer’s tribe had never experienced defeat and not even a massacre. Observing the people, and the children I noted that the children had an answer for me. I then proceeded to have by my side as I spoke two little boys. One a Native and the other a non-Native. As I spoke I told the audience that these two boys have a lesson for us. If you did not notice your children; non-Native and Native are playing together right now completely unaware of why you the non-Natives are having this celebration. Took the non-Native Child next to me and said where will this child be in five years? Ten years? 20 Years? Who will teach this little one hate? The same thing with the Native Child and told audience my tribe never experience massacres, killed. And these people here know who died here and their places where they fell and died is marked forever in their hearts with continued prayer. It is my home that these two will bring to us a better life and a better existence in the future. I ended there.

Do the leaders of “we” the people know what divisions they are causing in America? Do they? Do they understand that some of the “we” are very taken by what had happen in Tucson, Arizona on January 8, 2011. What was more sad that one of the “we” that did this tragic killing of fellow Americans. He himself is suppose to be an American. Where is the perfect union? Where is justice in America? Where is the common defense to protect one another? What has happen to the Welfare of the people? Where are the blessing of librerty? When will the “we” of American learn and be healed of violence?
